Alison keeps on winning at Indian Wells

Alison (WTA-118) is having a good run at the WTA-tournament of Indian Wells. From the qualifications she reached the main draw, where she beat Kurumi Nara (WTA-54) in the first round.

Three years ago the Belgian already defeated Nara in two sets in the Fed Cup. Today she did not start well against Nara, and lost the first set 4-6. From the second set onwards she started serving better, and won the next two sets 6-3 and 6-2 in a bit more than two hours.

In the second round Ali will face the 23th seed Elina Svitolina (WTA-29) from Ukraine. It will be their first encounter.
