Alison returns to competition this week in Germany, Karlsruhe. She’s the second seed there and has high hopes for a strong tournament. A special match immediately awaits in the first round.
The draw set up Alison and Greet Minnen, her partner in life with whom she also already has played doubles with on a regular basis, against each other. It’s the first time they’ll play each other on the WTA Tour. Alison is ranked 65th, Greet Minnen is the world number 123.
The meeting between both Belgian girls will be the third match on Centre Court, after the matches Hobgarski-Schoofs and Voegele-Niemeier.
