No upset for Alison at Roland Garros

Alison (WTA-113) was not able to create an upset during the second round at Roland Garros. She lost to Agnieszka Radwanska (WTA-10) in three sets.

Alison started the match well and immediately broke her opponent’s serve. At 5-4 she could serve for the set, but the ninth seed came back and managed to get to a tiebreak, which Alison won 7-6(3).

In the second set, Alison had some problems with her serve, she made more mistakes and Radwanska leveled the match 2-6. In the third set, the Polish continued to put the Belgian under pressure while serving flawlessly herself. After 2 hours and 22 minutes the match ended 7-6(3) 2-6 and 3-6.

No stunt for Alison, but Ali can look back on a nice tournament. From the quallies she made it into the second round.
